With good health and a decent education even the
most disadvantaged child can aspire to and
achieve a better life. This is why ELMA focuses
on poor, marginalized communities in Africa,
often serving rural as well as urban children
and youth who otherwise might not be touched by
outside assistance.
We believe that the best kinds of grants
directly attack a problem while simultaneously
providing the means to increase the ability of
local people to help themselves.
