The ELMA Foundation’s geographic priority areas are the countries of Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Rwanda, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe. In 2009, the Foundation began to explore East Africa as an added region of its grant funding which led to the decision of ELMA Philanthropies Services to open a new office in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania in the second quarter of 2010.
